A small group of Juvenilian’s gathered the Monday after the AGM weekend to watch Pride and Prejudice (2005) together online. For some, this was the first time seeing the film whereas others had seen it many times before. The topics discussed ranged from the revealing set dressings, the music, the colors and textures of the film, and how inappropriate it was for Mr. Bingley to walk into Jane’s sickroom at Netherfield. The event was a fun way to stay connected with friends and talk about Austen while remaining safe at home.
