Juvenilia’s Book Crawl

JASNA-NY’s Juvenilia group enjoyed a busy summer full of bookish activities. The annual “trip to Lyme,” also known as Long Beach, Long Island, was a relaxing seaside adventure paired with a discussion of the classic A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Other books on the recent reading list include Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s We Should All Be Feminists and The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Our second Brooklyn bookstore crawl was a smashing success. We visited four independent bookstores in Greenpoint and Williamsburg including Archestratus and Book Thug Nation. In the coming months, we will visit the New-York Historical Society and hold our annual holiday party (including book swap)!

Any JASNA-NY member who wishes to join Juvenilia should send an email to janesjuvenilia@gmail.com.
